Library Media Center

Hours

The Library Media Center is open from 7:45 AM to 3:30 PM except during Periods 2, 7, and on days when the librarian needs to attend after school meetings or other functions. Any changes will be announced during announcements.

Computer Lab

The Library Media Center doubles as a computer lab and has terminals for students to use during their free periods or after school for research and school work.

All students must observe the code of conduct

Borrowing Books

Students can borrow books from the library for a 2 week period. Some materials may have a shorter circulation period depending on demand.

Students will receive an overdue notice for books not returned on time. If an item is not returned after three overdue notices have been issued,  a detention may be issued at the discretion of the librarian.

If a student loses or damages a book so that it is no longer useful they will be asked to pay for a replacement.

Library Atmosphere

Any student coming into the library should either be assigned to the library on a regular basis such as for a study hall or should have a pass from the faculty or staff member who sent them to the library. They will not be able to stay in the library unless either of these conditions is met.

Students are reminded that the library is a place for quiet work. They are welcome to talk, but should at all times be respectful of others who are working.
