The guidance department would like to present this handbook for parents of middle school students, especially Seventh Grade parents, to look at regarding preparing for college early.

In regards to looking at careers, please remember our online career program, Career Cruising. Students can stop in the library to get the user name and password.

Attention All Outstanding 6th, 7th, and 8th Grade Students!

Any middle school student who has taken a standardized test/nationally normed test and scored at or above the 97th percentile is eligible for recognition as one of Johns Hopkins University Talented Youth Members (Center for Talented Youth).

Students selected to be members will receive such benefits as: (1) a Talented Youth Certificate; (2) access to invaluable resources; and (3) invitations to CTY conferences. These benefits can play a role in preparing students for a great college education.

SUMMER SCHOOL RESULTS

Any student who has attended summer school or has taken a Regents test outside of NDBG this past summer, please make sure guidance has the results for your records.
