Each year, Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons School holds special Events for the enjoyment of our Parents, Alumni, and Friends while supporting Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons School.
Hall of Fame
In 1986 the Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons Parents Association, with the guidance of Brother Brendan Moffett and Sister Nancy McDermott, then ND-BG’s principal and vice principal, held the first Knights Recognition Hall of Fame Dinner. (In its first few years, the dinner was known as the Knights Ball)
The Hall of Fame recognizes and honors individuals who have demonstrated exceptional service to Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons School or exemplify its mission. Inductees may be alumni, alumni parents, current parents, faculty or staff, a religious, or a member of the community at large.
In honor of the dedication and commitment Brother Moffett, CFC and Sister Nancy McDermott, CND felt toward the students of Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons, the proceeds from our Hall of Fame Dinner Gala benefit a Scholarship Fund for students deserving an excellent education.
Nominations to the Hall of Fame can be made by any member of the ND-BG community by contacting Christine Baseel ’96, Director of Advancement.
The 2014 Hall of Fame will be held on October 11, 2014 at The Waters Edge Lighthouse in Glenville.
On the last Monday of each June, Notre Dame – Bishop Gibbons holds its Annual Golf Classic. Although we always have a great time coming together as a community, the main reason we come together for this very fun day, is to help raise money in support of our student athletes and our athletic programs.
Academics are always our number one priority at ND-BG, but we also understand that athletics can play a very important role in the growth of our students. Those who may not excel as the top of the class in the classroom may find his or her leadership skills on the field or court. This is why we do everything in our power to support as many athletic teams for the more than three quarters of our student population who participate in our programs.
It is with the commitment of dedicated parents, friends, and family that we are able to continue to maintain the athletic budget which carries 28 athletic teams of multiple levels over the course of the school year. It is our hope that you too will help us maintain the integrity, leadership skills, and physical fitness of our young athletes.
The 2015 Golf Classic will be held on Monday, June 29th at The Edison Club in Rexford. Please click here for more information.

The race is open to ALL runners and walkers!

We are looking for volunteers who would be interested in making some phone calls. Graduates can catch-up with former classmates and friends! Parents can catch-up with each other as well! Volunteer with others from your class, from your teams, clubs, or other parents from your child’s class! Dinner is provided each night for all volunteers.
