Monday - 05/05 - Day D - Lunch: Chicken Club Sandwich Gen-Yes meeting will be held today from 3:00 - 4:00 pm in the Computer Lab. If you have any questions please see Mrs. Cooper.
  The Regents Review Live programs will begin today at 4:30 - 6:00 pm with English. Click here for more information about this useful way to prepare for Regents exams.
  Regent Review class for the Integrated Algebra classes will be held today from 2:50 - 3:30 pm in room 18.
  Alumni Association Meeting at 7:00 pm.
   
Tuesday - 05/06 - Day E - Lunch: Breakfast Burritos Juniors must have their $42.00 payment into Mr. Maguire today by 3:00 pm if they want to attend the trip to NY City. There are no exceptions.
  Blessed Edmund Rice Prayer Service will be held in the gym at 1:30 pm.
  Juniors who have not taken the SAT test must sign up for the June 7th SAT test by today. If you have questions please see Mr. Honsinger in guidance.
  Library is closed from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm as well as after school.
  AP Spanish Language Exam in the library at 8:00 am.
  Faculty Meeting in the library at 3:00 pm.
   
Wednesday - 05/07 - Day F - Lunch: Bacon Cheeseburgers Chaplain's Corner - Fr. Leo Markert will be in the chapel from 10:30 am - 12:00 pm to talk or pray with any student or faculty member who would like to join him. Students must have a pass from their teacher.
  Mass Schedule - We will follow the Mass Schedule PDF for today.
  MADD Assembly (grades 9 - 12) today at 1:15 pm.
  Ben Franklin Assembly (grades 6 - 8) in the library today at 1:15 pm.

  Study Skills class for students in grades 6 - 12 will be held today after school in guidance.
  The Art Club will not meet today.

Thursday - 05/08 - Day A - Lunch: Chicken Parm Sandwich Mother's Day Flower Sale - Today is the last day that students can order carnations for $1.25 each during homeroom and after school in Room 7 and during lunch. The flowers will be distributed during period 9 tomorrow.
  The Library is closed from 8:00 am - 12:00 pm.
  AP English Literature Exam in the library at 8:00 am.
  Math A Regents Review Class will be held today from 3:00 - 4:00 pm in Room 22. Please see Mr. Ille if you have any question
   
Friday - 05/09 - Day B - Lunch: Turkey Club Wrap Dress down day for grades 6 - 12. Students in grades 6 - 11 must pay $1.00 to their Homeroom teacher by today in order to dress down. Seniors do not have to pay to dress down. Please click here for the usual dress down day rules. Proceeds will benefit the Prom.
  Student Council - Middle School representatives will meet in Room 13 during their lunch period today. If you have questions please see Mrs. Rudinski, Ms. Baseel or Mrs. Neidl.
  Arts Festival Time Slot - Today is the last day that students who are interested in playing at the Arts Festival can sign up for a time slot with Mrs. Heilman. Please see her sometime this morning if you have not signed up yet.
  The library is closed all day as well as after school.
  AP US History Exam in the library at 8:00 am.
  AP European History Exam in the library at 12:00 pm.
  Mother's Day Flower Sale - Flowers will be distributed during Period 9 today.

Congratulations! The ND-BG Mock Trial Team captured the Region  III crown on Saturday May 3, 2008 during competition in Albany.  The team represented Schenectady County in a nine-county competition to determine who would represent the region of northeastern New York at the state tournament later this month.  This will be the team's fourth trip to state finals since 2000.  The teams representing the six regions of New York state will compete in Albany on May 19th and 20th.  Congratulations, Notre Dame-Bishop Gibbons Mock Trial Team, and continued success at the state tournament!

Main Office Hours - The main office hours are 7:30 am - 3:30 pm. The phone number is (518) 393-3131 ext. 100.
 
Business Office reminders - Please click here for more information.
 
Lost items - Please check in the main office if you are missing any item. There are a number of winter jackets.
 
Breakfast in the Cafeteria - The Cafeteria will serve breakfast from 7:30 - 10:45 am. Also, Please make lunch checks payable to Prestige Services.
 
Remember locker keys - Locker keys will not be given out by the main office to unlock your locker if you are missing your key. Please remember to bring your locker key to school.
 
Late bus reminder - The Schenectady, Guilderland, and South Colonie School Districts have late buses that can stop at ND-BG on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. However, students need to sign up in the main office by 10:30 am on the day they need the bus. Please click here for bus times and other information.
 
Parent Mailing - Beginning in January, monthly newsletters and other parent notifications are being sent via email rather than mailing them. If you have not returned the email form previously sent to you, please do so as soon as possible.
 
Mother's Day Raffle - A raffle will be held during the month of May. Please click here for more details.
 
2008 Golden Knight Basketball Camp - This will be held June 30 - July 3, 2008. Please click here for more information and the application form.
 
Summer job opportunities - Students should check with guidance for summer job opportunities.
 
Work - Study Program - We could use several more Work-Study students at this time. Students who are currently in the program will have first option for our summer Work-Study Program. Please contact the Main Office if interested.
 
Graduation Supplies from Herff-Jones - The school supplies the cap & gown, 10 custom announcements and one box of name cards for each graduate. To complement the announcements Herff Jones has class envelope seals, inserts, graduation celebration cards, thank you notes or souvenir tassels. If you are interested in any of these items please contact the Herff-Jones representative, Marlene Wilson at 347-0901 or by email at marlenewilson@msn.com.

Award Ceremony - An Awards Ceremony will be held on Friday, May 30, 2008. The ceremony for middle school students will be held at 8:15 am and the ceremony for high school students will be held at 12:45 pm. Parents/guardians and family members are welcome to attend.
 
2008-2009 Uniforms - On Monday, June 9, 2008 from 9:00 am - 12:00 Noon representatives from Scholastic Specialty Corporation will be at our school to measure incoming and presently enrolled students for their school uniforms. Please click here for more information.
